Hotwire Hotel: 2* New York City (Times Square - Theater District) Milford Plaza

Hi,

im happy to find this wonderful website!

Anyway i booked a hotel through hotwire and it turned out to be Milford Plaza. My booking date is from 30Apr-4 May 2012. However, I made a mistake in the dates due to the time difference. Is it possible to request hotwire to amend the date to 1-5 May?

Alternatively, Im prepare to forfeit the 1 day and add an additional days but through this website, the price for the additional day has increased a lot. Thus, i have to re-search a hotel for the additional days. My plan is 4-7 May 2012 and Im wondering which hotels are these:

If you haven't yet, please read your messages.

You should definitely give HOTWIRE and/or the hotel a call, but my guess is that they won't be able to change the dates.... especially if as you're stating above the additional nite you need is more more expensive then the previous nites you booked.

If you're unable to adjust the dates, make sure you call and let the hotel know that you won't be checking-in on the 30th but that you WILL show up on 5/1 for the balance of your stay... you don't want the hotel to think that you're a no-show and re-sell the room to a walk-in customer. Even if you call in advance and let them know, i'd call again the day of check-in if you're able to call.

We'll use this thread to reflect your purchase of the Milford Plaza... can you confirm the current star rating of this property as well as the room rater paid per nite and the amenities shown before your purchase. You can still view this information by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page.

For the remaining nites of your stay, please start a NEW TOPIC (since this one now reflects your previous win), but i'd also suggest trying to resolve the additional nite first as this way you'll be sure of the nites that you need to extend your trip.
