premb Posted April 25, 2012 Report Posted April 25, 2012 I have been bidding from last few weeks on priceline for 3.5* in nashville airport area and i always get Hotel Preston. I bid around 55 - Monday to Thu. what is a good bid $ to get marriott or sheraton? if i bid higher - at around 65, what happens, will preston accept my bid before marriott and i end up at preston at 65 instead of the 55 i usually bid?I once tried 55 at 3* - got upgraded to 3.5* - Hotel preston at that same rate
AaronJB Posted April 25, 2012 Report Posted April 25, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Sharing any prior wins (as separate threads) would be greatly appreciated. There is no way to ensure or increase the odds of a particular property when bidding. If one tried to overbid for a particular property, they could wind up with the property they were trying to avoid. There have been instances of bids over retail price being accepted. If you need assistance and are willing to accept any hotel within the zone at the star rating chosen, please provide the date/s of travel and desired zone/budget/star rating.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
