Brazil Posted April 24, 2012 Report Posted April 24, 2012 I'm pretty sure that this is the Renaissance because it's not a beachfront property.Palm Beach - Oranjestad, Aruba area hotelRecommended in 85% of Hotwire customer reviewsAmenities:Resort, Free Parking, Near Beach, Casino, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Laundry Facilities (self-service), High-Speed Internet Access, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Spa Services, Children's Activity Program I was looking to get the Westin, Radisson or Hyatt Regency. Should I try Priceline instead? Thanks!

thereuare Posted April 25, 2012 Report Posted April 25, 2012 The Renaissance, with a new 'Free Parking' amenity would be my best guess as well. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Brazil Posted April 25, 2012 Author Report Posted April 25, 2012 Thanks for the heads up. This may not be (heck, probably isn't) the correct forum for this follow-up question, but here it goes:If I understood correctly, the Renaissance is rated as a 4* in PRICELINE, so bidding exclusively on the resort category would "almost certainly" avoid this property. Amirite?
thereuare Posted April 25, 2012 Report Posted April 25, 2012 Yes, as long as the Renaissance remains 4* rated (or less) then you can safely avoid it by only bidding Resort class hotels (and higher)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Brazil Posted June 1, 2015 Author Report Posted June 1, 2015 I ended up making a reservation in Westin.
