This would be a possible match for the Days Hotel Broadway.

Have you tried using PRICELINE? Are you only looking for Central Park, or would other areas be acceptable? This is an expensive period, but I think you MIGHT be able to get something slightly better for a similar price in Midtown - I'm seeing this 2* Central Park listing for $180 (the price you see may be slightly different.)
