Priceline Hotel: 3* San Francisco (Union Square West - Nob Hill) The Donatello

Been trying to get a 3.5 - 4* hotel for under $120 for a few days now. No luck. Even tried to book The Rex for $99 on HOTWIRE, but it went "out of stock" as I was entering my credit card info.

Then I actually looked at TA reviews of 3* hotels in Union Square and SOMA and realized that they're better than 4*. Threw in a bid of $80 for USW, not expecting to get anything. Got The Donatello on the first try. Can't go wrong with a 94% approval rating. Just browsing the web, it looks like it goes for $170+ normally.
