Priceline Hotel: French Quarter / Downtown - Sept. 22-24

I am looking for a hotel in the French Quarter or Downtown on Saturday Sept. 22 - Monday 24th. I have bid up to $90 in both the French Quarter and Downtown and surprised I didn't get a "win" considering some of the bids I have seen winning on here for May, etc. Any ideas or suggestions as to what may be going on? I looked up the Marriott for those days on their website and it shows $198 per night so I assume I am not that far off.

Any input is appreciated...thanks!!

Rates can vary significantly from day-to-day and season-to-season. What would be your desired max bid per night for this stay?

Not sure of max bid, but just saw others for lower. I guess I would like to spend about $200 total (with fees) for the 2 nights in the French Quarter sept 22-24
