hazardsyd Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 Could you please help in figuring out which hotel either of these may be? I can't seem to correlate them to anything in the hotwire listings.Date range: 5/6-5/9Star rating: 4Property 1: Lake Buena Vista - Downtown Disney area hotelCost: $79 (no original cost listed)Resort fee: About $1585% RecommendedAmenities:ResortFree ParkingFitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterHigh-Speed Internet AccessSpa ServicesProperty 2: Lake Buena Vista - Downtown Disney area condoCost: $92 (no original cost listed)Resort fee: About $1590% RecommendedAmenities:ResortFree ParkingFree Internet2 Bedroom SuiteFully-equipped KitchenWasher and Dryer in RoomFitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)24-hour Front DeskHigh-Speed Internet AccessSpa ServicesCondo I've also tried to priceline this date range and star level at $65, but it didn't catch.I'd typically rather stay in a hotel than a condo, but the reviews are pretty good on both. Thanks for the help!

thereuare Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 Best guess for the hotel property would be the Buena Vista Palace Walt Disney World Resort while my guess for the condo would be the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. hazardsyd Posted April 24, 2012 Author Report Posted April 24, 2012 Tried lots of levels and prices for this area during this time frame. Before this win, I tried $85 for a Resort class hotel. It was rejected and Priceline allowed me to raise my bid by $21 to $106 total.I just waited 1 day and re-bid at $92 and the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort hit.Apparently only saved 14%, but the hotel is brand new (built last October), and it can't be worse than the Holiday Inn I booked :).
hazardsyd Posted April 24, 2012 Author Report Posted April 24, 2012 Thanks for your help. I ended up choosing Pric.eline for two date ranges (3 day and 2 day) and posted my first results in this thread and my second purchase in this Priceline Lake Buena Vista thread. I used the forum PRICELINE links.
