Priceline Hotel: 4* NYC - Brooklyn, FD, or SoHo New to BetterBidding

Hi there,

I'm new to betterbidding and looking to get a 4* hotel for one night on April 28th for either:

Brooklyn, Downtown

Financial District

SoHo Tribeca

However, I am also open to Lowet East Side which only has 3* hotels (last resort)

Budget is under $180 a night. Would this be too low?

I've used priceline before so I'm aware of how it works but not too sure what's the best strategy when it comes to 4*/3* hotels as I have only used this for 5* hotels before.

What would be a good price to start off with? What strategy should I be looking at?

At the moment i don't think your $180 budget will likely be enough, but we can give i a try. However, before doing so i may have an alternate idea...

Is your goal to be in lower Manhattan as that is where you will be spending most of your time OR do you have plans in Brooklyn and figure lower Manhattan would give you easy access to that area?
