Goal was 4* Minneapolis (downtown) for less than $60 (before taxes & fees). There are lots of free rebid zones (zones without 4* properties -- 16 I think), so I started low at $44 (counter-offer of $60, which I declined) and started added free rebid zones, increasing each bid by $1-2 and finally won at $53. This is a pretty new hotel in a very historic building in downtown Minneapolis, and I've heard good things, so I am pleased with the result.

Taxes & Fees: $14.46

Total Charged to Card: $67.46

Priceline says I saved 51%, which sounds about right.

Thanks for the info just thought I would add I used the PRICELINE link and got a hotel win at the W hotel minneapolis (downtown) for may 25 to the 26 for 52 dollars per night before taxes thanks!!!!!!
