Hotwire Hotel: 3* Las Vegas (Strip North) Stratosphere Hotel and Casino

Hi I'm a newbie to Hotwire, but I've used priceline several times.

I'd like to book 1 night on 05/25 (Friday night before memorial weekend) in a vegas strip hotel, 3* or better.

I just saw a 3* hotel for $71/nite on hotwire. It has 8 amenities:

Resort

Free Parking

Casino

Fitness Center

Pool

Restaurants

Golf nearby

Spa

My question is:

1) is it Stratosphere Tower?

2) hotwire offers $71. if I go to priceline is it possible to get a even lower price (lower than $71) for the same hotel? (I know in priceline I can't bid for one hotel, I need to bid for hotels in an area...)

Best guess for the property above is the Stratosphere with the addition of a Free Parking amenity.

PRICELINE is usually a little cheaper than HOTWIRE, but as you point out, there is no way to specifically target this same hotel when using PRICELINE, you'll need to be able to accept any 3* hotel in the zone(s) that you choose.

Just booked this hotel. $71 + tax $12 + resort fee $ 10 = 93, no cheap at all for a 3* hotel in vegas, but it's memorial day weekend....

No luck with priceline bidding after I raised my bid to $95 for any 3 start hotel in both las vegas strip north and las vegas vicinity north.
