cr8tive Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 Need help with a strategy for 4* ANYWHERE in the Columbus area for this weekend. $50/nt sounds too low? Doable?TIA
thereuare Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 Always double check just before bidding, but currently Downtown is the only zone that offers 4* bidding, so you can use the other zones as re-bid zones. I'm not sure if $50 will be enough for a 4* property, but if you wan to give it a try:Select 4* Columbus Downtown...Bid $35, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $38, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $40, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $43, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $45, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $46, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $47, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $48, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $49, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $50Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes. naner Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 Remember that since the 4* will be downtown you will be paying for valet at any hotel you get. Last time we stayed downtown it was close to $20 a night.
cr8tive Posted April 26, 2012 Author Report Posted April 26, 2012 Price was too low I think. I tried but rejected. I ended up just driving home that night...
