Hotwire Hotel: Strip South Area 4* or 5*

Hey, first time posting. I am scheduling my graduation trip to Vegas with 3 friends and we are looking for a 4* or 5* hotel either 1(two beds) or 2 rooms, whichever is cheaper from May 25 to 28. I want to make sure I secure the best deal, any suggestions? Judging from the non bidding sites, a 4* strip south area hotel is running about 114 a night, I would like to do better than that.

Is this thru HOTWIRE or thru a site where the hotel name is shown prior to purchase? If the latter, what is the name of the hotel? As most Las Vegas hotels now charge more for occupancy more than four, is the above for quad occupancy OR for a room for two? If booking a room for two are you going to try to stay there with four people or should be consider your budget to be $228/nite if you intend to get a second room?
