Priceline Hotel: Need Help for Hotels in Nigara Falls NY

Hi,

I am trying to bid for a hotel in Niagara Falls, NY For the date of May 27 ( 1 night). I would prefer the hotels closets to the falls. Any idea what the bid range should be so i have a general idea.

I would prefer the hotels closets to the falls.

When using PRICELINE, you have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you choose.

With HOTWIRE you can often take an educated guess as to what is being offered based upon the amenities associated with the property, and therefore have a guess as to its location, but it's still a 'best guess' and no guarantees you will receive the hotel you're hoping for.

The trade-off is that PRICELINE is usually a little cheaper than PRICELINE.

I would prefer Zone 6 and any hotels from 3 star to 2 star will be acceptable. Looking for a bid around $65 to $70.

What is the name that PRICELINE uses for 'Zone 6'?

Are you willing to pay more for a 3* vs. a 2* OR is your goal the least expensive 2* or better for this trip? (generally speaking it's typically recommended to try and stick with the higher star rated hotels when making an 'opaque' purchase... while there may be some 2* hotels you're fine with, there may be some which you'd rather not stay in, and with PRICELINE / HOTWIRE you don't get to choose which type you'll get ;) )
