AaronJB Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Please provide the names of the zone/s that would be acceptable, your desired star rating and desired max bid per night.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 I would prefer the hotels closets to the falls. When using PRICELINE, you have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you choose. With HOTWIRE you can often take an educated guess as to what is being offered based upon the amenities associated with the property, and therefore have a guess as to its location, but it's still a 'best guess' and no guarantees you will receive the hotel you're hoping for.The trade-off is that PRICELINE is usually a little cheaper than PRICELINE.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please read your messages and click each of these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links before replying.Thanks. realmadrid2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Author Report Posted April 17, 2012 Hi AaronJB,I would prefer Zone 6 and any hotels from 3 star to 2 star will be acceptable. Looking for a bid around $65 to $70.Thanks
thereuare Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 Please provide the names of the zone/s that would be acceptable...I would prefer Zone 6...What is the name that PRICELINE uses for 'Zone 6'?Are you willing to pay more for a 3* vs. a 2* OR is your goal the least expensive 2* or better for this trip? (generally speaking it's typically recommended to try and stick with the higher star rated hotels when making an 'opaque' purchase... while there may be some 2* hotels you're fine with, there may be some which you'd rather not stay in, and with PRICELINE / HOTWIRE you don't get to choose which type you'll get ;) )Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
