thetoy Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 Just won this hotel today using PRICELINE link from BB, very happy with the bid. Reviews seem very good, and can't beat the price on a busy weekend in London!FYI, I had to get a hotel for one addition night, as my previoius bidding win (Hilton Olympia for $110 per night, $135 after taxes) was only for the first of 2 (of 3) nights for my trip to London.Started at $82 per night for one zone only (City Bridge), immediate re-bid at $87 with extra zone (Westminister), another re-bid at $90 with extra zone (Docklands)...and win!Winning bid price: $90Taxes and fees: $25.76Total charged: 115.76 USDCheapest rates I found after for the same room were: Novotel website: $294 total per night, Expedia $298, and Kayak $248. So turned out to be an approx 53% savings over the cheapest available rate I could find! Which turns out to be the best (in terms of discount %) win for me so far! :)thanks betterbidding for the help!
