My firt time using Priceline and was trying for a 4 star and kept raising my price. Finally went to a 3 start (or 3.5 I'm not sure) and got the Club Quarters Central Loop for $105 per night. Hoping I made the right decision because now I see they had a "small room" available and I'm hoping I'm not staying in that closet but at least in a "standard" size room. I kept debating and prices were going up for the time I want to go. Hotwire had for $119 what I think was the La Quinta with a free complimental breakfast for $119 per night. Hope I made the right choice and didn't get cheated!

It's a bit of a walk West of here, but if you want a classic Chicago breakfast at a place that's really an institution in the city, I'd suggest Lou Mitchell's (http://www.loumitchellsrestaurant.com/), which has been there for several decades. The other old-fashioned gem would be the Pittsfield Cafe (http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g35805-d1025120-Reviews-Pittsfield_Cafe-Chicago_Illinois.html - that's in the Pittsfield building.) Mitchell's is cash only.

Please let us know if you have any city questions.
