It's been guessed that the 4* is a new amenity set for the H10 Marina Barcelona but this has not yet been confirmed with a purchase (here is another hotwire hotel thread where it was just asked about)

I'm not currently seeing the 3* offered when searching HOTWIRE for your dates.

Thanks for your help. I noticed that the 3 star hotel does not show up when you select one room. If you select 3 rooms (which is what we require) the following appears:

Ramblas North - Ciutat Vella (Old Town) area hotel
