Hello,

I had some friends refer me to your site - they had great luck with Hotwire/ Priceline. I am looking to book a weekend in Chicago from 8/4-8/7 and am a little surprised at the prices posted on Hotwire - do they seem higher than normal?

3* at $93/night

-free parking

- airport shuttle

- smoke free rooms

- fitness center

- pool

- restaurant

- business center

- high - speed Internet access

- golf nearby

I am booking for 4 adults. Thank you in advance for your insight and help!!!!

Welcome to Betterbidding. :)

Looking for four adults is going to result in higher prices due to extra person fees being likely worked in. However, the other issue during this period is the Lollapalooza festival in the downtown area. Prices are already high for those dates downtown, leading to overflow in the suburbs and O'Hare.

Are you driving? You could likely get a cheaper rate in other suburban zones - Northbrook has a 3.5* for $60 and a 4* for $75. I often recommend that area - the North burbs are nice - a good deal of shopping and restaurants. Some sites of interest (Chicago Botanic Garden and Ravinia Festival), as well as beaches (although some suburbs charge), too.

This ORD HOTWIRE listing has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board, but my guess is that it may be the Four Points O'Hare.

Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
