Trvl4food Posted April 13, 2012 Report Posted April 13, 2012 Used the PRICELINE link. Began bidding at $90 and used rebids until I received the Omni at $120 per night. This was my first time using this site, and I'm very happy with the results.
AaronJB Posted April 13, 2012 Report Posted April 13, 2012 Congrats on your success. :)Definitely a nice win for this Omni property. Hope you are looking forward to your stay.Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
axum1 Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 I am looking for a hotel in downtown Austin for 5/5-5/6. How did you find the Omni Hotel? The only options I see in Downtown in Priceline are AT&T and the Sheraton which are pretty expensive.
thereuare Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 axum1,Hotel availability, and rates, are date specific, so what may be available for the OP's nites (5/3-5/5) may not be available for your own dates (5/5-5/6). As well, this was purchase over 2 weeks ago and inventory may have changed since then. Lastly, what is available thru PRICELINE's "retail" section is not necessarily the same inventory that is available thru their 'name your own price' opaque section. See the related 'using retail listings to determine opaque availability' link in our PRICELINE FAQ for more info on this subject. If you'd like help with your own stay feel free to start a NEW TOPIC.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Thanks. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
