Priceline Hotel: Honeymoon in New York

Hi,

we are spending a few days of our honeymoon in New York City. I would like to find a 4* somewhere in MTE, MTW, TS, CPS, or ESB. I would really like to not go over $150. Is this even possible? The dates are 5/2-5/4. Could you please suggest a bidding strategy for me? Thank you so much,

Based on rates for these dates that I'm seeing on HOTWIRE and elsewhere, I think a 4* in these zones will likely take $185-235, depending on the zone. You do have the time to try lower levels, starting at $125 and working up by $5's, but unfortunately I do think that - due to the busy Spring season - a 4* in these zones will likely take over $150.
