RuleBreaker
On April 12, 2012 at about 12:30 p.m. PST I bid on Priceline for a 3-star Moreno Valley Area hotel ($42) and it was denied.Next I bid $42 for a 2.5-star Moreno Valley area hotel and it was denied. I was trying for 2 nights, April 13-14, 2012, which is a Friday-Saturday night combo.I then added another area, the Corona/Riverside West, for either 3 or 2.5 stars at $42 bid, same two nights. It was accepted by Ayres Suites Corona West at 1900 West Frontage Road, Corona, CA 92882.Their website makes the place appear to be quite nice.I called and requested two beds and though the receptionist knew the reservation was a Priceline bid, he graciously assured me I would be given two queens, and a non-smoking room. Apparently if you want a smoking room you have to request it. Otherwise you will be given a non-smoking room.He was very friendly and was completely without any PL attitude. Link to comment
