thereuare
What is your maximum bid for this stay? Are you willing to pay more for a 4* vs. a 3.5* vs. a 3* OR is your goal the least expensive 3* or better for this trip?I assume receiving a hotel anywhere within the shaded boundary of the Beverly Hills-West Hollywood zone would get you close enough to the hospital? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. (and please click each of these links before replying)Thanks. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
kindheartedguy
My goal is the least expensive 3* or better. I don't really have a maximum bid, but the least expensive would be best. Within the shaded boundary would be ok, but I would really prefer if it was closer to the beverly Hilton! Link to comment

thereuare
When bidding 3* in the Beverly Hills area you have THREE re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.(NOTE: 're-bid zone1' is not the same as priceline's Zone1, 're-bid zone2' is not the same as priceline's Zone2, etc, etc)Select 3* Beverly Hills-West Hollywood...Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $70, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 3* Beverly Hills-West Hollywood and re-bid zone2...Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $80, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 3* Beverly Hills-West Hollywood and re-bid zone3...Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $90, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 3* Beverly Hills-West Hollywood and re-bid zone2 and re-bid zone3...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $100Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes. kindheartedguy
help identifying 3.5* hotel bevery hillsBeverly Hills - West Hollywood area hotelAmenities: Complimentary Breakfast, Free Internet Link to comment
thereuare
HOTWIRE has a 3.5* property in the Beverly Hills - West Hollywood zone for $105/nite with Complimentary Breakfast and Free Internet amenities showing. This property has not yet been reported to the board, but my guess is that it may be the The Crescent Beverly Hills. Do note i have read reports that this property has some very small rooms which are sold at a deep discount, so might not be the most comfortable of places before/after your hospital visit, but not sure how this location would work for your needs and/or how important room comfort is for this trip.Let us know your thoughts and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.PS- please keep all posts for this same stay in this same thread, if you ultimately use HOTWIRE we'll move this thread to the HOTWIRE section of the board once a hotel is won (or if you use the EDIT TO REPORT WIN button on the lower right of the page it will move automatically when you fill out the form ;) ) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
kindheartedguy
thanks!the crescent looks really good on their website, but if it's a super tiny room that is discounted because nobody wants it, then i think i will pass on that too..i'm not sure what to do now... i think i can increase the hotel cost and continue with priceline. (but is there a chance i get the crescent with PRICELINE as well?) Link to comment
thereuare
The Crescent has never been reported to the board thru PRICELINE, but there is always a chance that it is a new hotel to the system and you could be the first to report it to the board. Through PRICELINE's "retail" service the Crescent is 3* rated, so if you absolutely want to avoid this property you could increase your star rating to 3.5*... but i'm guessing a 3.5* property will likely cost you ~$140-$160/nite.Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
