I'm having surgery and I need to be close to the hospital.I want to stay in a hotel that is 3 stars or more. Please help me with a bidding strategy that will allow me to minimize the cost! Thanks!

This property has not yet been reported to the board, but my guess is that it may be the The Crescent Beverly Hills. kindheartedguy Posted April 18, 2012 Author Report Posted April 18, 2012 thanks!the crescent looks really good on their website, but if it's a super tiny room that is discounted because nobody wants it, then i think i will pass on that too..i'm not sure what to do now... i think i can increase the hotel cost and continue with priceline. (but is there a chance i get the crescent with PRICELINE as well?)
thereuare Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 The Crescent has never been reported to the board thru PRICELINE, but there is always a chance that it is a new hotel to the system and you could be the first to report it to the board. Through PRICELINE's "retail" service the Crescent is 3* rated, so if you absolutely want to avoid this property you could increase your star rating to 3.5*... but i'm guessing a 3.5* property will likely cost you ~$140-$160/nite.Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. kindheartedguy Posted April 30, 2012 Author Report Posted April 30, 2012 it didnt' work out even until 160$, so i decided to go with another hotel at a "patient" rate with good reviews at 165$+taxes which came out to be cheaper than the 160$+fees+taxes bid on pricelinethanks again!
