Priceline Hotel: 3* San Francisco (SFO North - San Bruno) Holiday Inn San Francisco International Airport

i want to book a hotel in zone 8 near the airport from priceline,from 28/04/2012 to 29/04/2012.

and better lower than usd70 per night.

can i get any tips here?

As the zone numbers will change if/when PRICELINE adds/removes/renames zones, please use the zone names (and not reference by number)... i assume you're referring to the SFO International Airport - Burlingame zone?

yes,it is SFO International Airport - Burlingame zone.i prefer up to 3* hotel.

i have tried several days and failed.

my order is up to usd70 per night for 3* hotel in this area.

am i too late to bid the hotel since my stay is during 28/04 and 30/04?

It's not too late, it's more likely that rates in the area are a little higher than usual. I suspect you're probably within $10-$20 of a win.

However, i'll add that i don't think there is too much price difference between 3*, 3.5*, and 4* hotels in this area for these dates. If you are willing to bid higher, do you want to try for a 4* hotel up to $90 (whatever amount you're willing to use as a new maximum bid)... OR do you prefer to save even a few dollars and try for the least expensive 3* or better for this stay?

I found there was a promote of 70/night in the SFO North area in hotwire. since i am going to live beside the airport, it's ok for me to change the hotel zone.and i bid for 60 in SFO North area for the first time and got it.
