Kathleen86
I was wondering if anyone could help me identify a 4.5* hotel in the Magnificent Mile-Streeterville area. The price is $188 per room, for three people, two rooms, from June 20 to June 26. The amenities are: smoke free rooms, fitness centre, pool(s), restaurant(s), business centre, and high-speed Internet access. It was recommended in 90% of Hotwire customer reviews. I've never booked a hotel using Hotwire, so I appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks! Link to comment

thereuare
A 4.5* property with this exact amenity set has not yet been reported to the board, but i think this may be the Inter-Continental Chicago with the addition of a new 'Smoke Free' amenity... it is a non-smoking property and this would be my best guess. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. AaronJB
I'd also agree with the Intercontinental being the likely result.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment
slruud
You've got plenty of time before your stay, so why not book the Hard Rock for $160/nite on Lastminutetravel.com, or the Westin for $171/nite...cancelable up to 3 days before stay. They are both in the same area as the Intercontinental. Then you can keep an eye on Hotwire and possibly try a bid or two on Priceline.Expedia has the Hotel Felix for $162/nite, cancelable. Thanks for the advice, I'm definitely going to look around a bit, but I'm just trying to get a feel for what prices are out there. Thanks for all the help so far, everyone! Link to comment

slruud
There's a thread up above under "Off Topic: Run of House" titled LAST MINUTE TRAVEL - Tool For Identifying Hotels that shows a couple of ways to determine the name of the hotel. You can also call LMT directly and ask for a specific hotel. Sometimes the call in rate is cheaper than the website rate. Link to comment

I'll definitely be using the hotel identifying tool in the future. Since I still have some time until I have to book, I'll be keeping an eye on all of these sites. Link to comment
