Priceline Hotel: 4* Charlotte Hotel near Convention Center

I am new to the site and am looking for a 4* hotel near the Charlotte Convention Center for my mom. She will be traveling July 18-24. I am hoping to find a hotel that is $70 max, if less that would be perfect.

The Convention Center appears to be in PRICELINE's "Downtown" zone, is this the zone you're looking to bid?

I'll add that current rates for these dates are quite high with hotel direct rates at 4* hotels starting at nearly $250+, so i'm doubtful that $70 will be successful at this point in time. You have nothing to lose by giving it a try, but is this the only zone you're willing to accept?

Thank you for the advice. I am willing to go a few miles outside of the Convention Center zone, if there are a few 3.5* and up hotels in my price range. But I will check out Priceline in the meantime.

As for the Charlotte hotel, I have decided to cancel that trip because I could not find a hotel close by in my price range. Thank you for helping though.
