Priceline Hotel: 4* Los Angeles (Westwood - Century City) Hotel Angeleno

My husband and I are in town for orientation at UCLA Anderson and to scope out the neighbourhood for our upcoming move to L.A.

I wanted a 4* close to the campus (Westwood) and bid up to £65 the first time I tried. The second time I succeeded and got 7 nights at £80 per night (approx. Cdn $127). The final total including taxes came out to £656.18 (approx. Cdn $1040) which is about Cdn $149/night.

I had hoped to get away with $125/night but am fairly happy with the result. The hotel is very close to the campus (2 miles) and offers complimentary shuttles, WiFi, and "wine hour".

I'm now going to try for a 4* LAX hotel for the night we arrive (we get in late and I figured no sense paying big bucks for the first night, better to just get to the hotel quickly and painlessly and get to town the next morning).
