Hi, this is my first posting to this board, so forgive me if I'm not following the correct protocol!

Received a Hotwire price of $105 per night for a 4* hotel with a 95% recommended rate, 1.7-4.1 miles from city center.

Amenities include: Resort, restaurant, tennis nearby, fitness center, pool, business center, high speed internet access.

I'm looking for 4 rooms for 1 night arriving 12/22/12, and got the following quote for a 4*:

Resort - Resorts offer a complete destination experience. Facilities generally include a spa or fitness center, one or more swimming pools, and superior dining options. Depending on location, recreational activities may include water sports, golf, tennis or skiing. Coastal resorts usually boast ocean views or beachfront access. Note: A resort fee may be charged.

Fitness Center - Guests have access to exercise equipment; an additional charge may apply.

Pool(s) - Property offers at least one pool area; hours and dates of operation may be seasonal.

Restaurant(s) - Property offers at least one restaurant on the premises; hours and days of operation may vary.

High-Speed Internet Access - Guestrooms are equipped with high-speed Internet access; an extra charge may apply.

Tennis Nearby - Property is located within walking distance or a short drive of at least one tennis court; an extra charge typically applies.

It also has a 95% Hotwire recommendation rate.

Since there are 4 rooms, I'm trying to do my due diligence!

Fort Lauderdale Beach Area. Now it is $106 and the Hotwire 95% recommend rate does not show up, but the amenities are the same.

There is also a 3.5* in the same zone for $89.00 with the following amenities:

Near Beach

Smoke Free Rooms

Fitness Center

Pool(s)

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

High-Speed Internet Access

Clues as to what hotel this in the Fort Lauderdale Beach Area?

The 4* property has not yet been reported to the board, but wtih 500+ reviews i'd suspect that it is a previously reported property but with fewer amenities then it has previously been reported to the board (my guess is the Westin Beach Resort, but if you're trying to target this hotel and willing to pay an extra $20/nite i have a better way to play it).

The 3.5* property matches previous reports for the Sheraton Ft Lauderdale Beach Hotel so that would be my best guess here.

My comments were related to these specific dates based upon the HOTWIRE offers i was seeing for the dates above.
