gatoreagle2599 Posted April 1, 2012 Report Posted April 1, 2012 I am looking to book a hotel in Downtown Atlanta for this Friday, April 6. I am going to a concert at The Tabernacle downtown and wanted to stay somewhere close by. I have noted that under the Better Bidding listings that there's only one listed 3.5 hotel, the Westin Peachtree Plaza. Interestingly enough, right now on Hotwire the price for a 3.5 star hotel in Downtown is $72 and the price for a 4 star downtown Atlanta hotel is $68. For the 3.5 star the amenities are: Smoke free rooms, Fitness center, Pool, Restaurant and Business Center. For the 4 star hotel, the amenities are exactly the same. Any thoughts/ideas on what these hotels might be? Typically I wouldn't think twice about paying less for a nicer hotel, but I'm looking for something as close to The Tabernacle on Luckie Street as possible. Any help is greatly appreciated. GE2599
JASCAR Posted April 1, 2012 Report Posted April 1, 2012 From My research It looks like you are correct unless there another 3.5* that has not come up in win listings. The Westin does appear closer than The Sheraton which I believe would be the likely 4* wih those ammenities. Curious to hear what you wind up with as also looking for rooms in Midtown or Downtown around same time. Will post any wins when I have one.
AaronJB Posted April 1, 2012 Report Posted April 1, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding.4* amenity set has been previously seen with the Sheraton, while the 3.5* has been seen with the Westin.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
