pandavw Posted April 1, 2012 Report Posted April 1, 2012 Hello,I had some friends refer me to your site - they had great luck with Hotwire/Priceline. I am looking to book a weekend in Chicago from 8/5-8/8and am a little suprised at the prices posted on Hotwire - do they seem higher than normal? 4* at $118/night- Airport Shuttle- Fitness Center- Pool(s)- Restaurant(s)- Business Center - Laundry Facilities (self-service)- High-Speed Internet AccessI am booking for 4 adults. Thank you in advance for your insight and help!!!
AaronJB Posted April 1, 2012 Report Posted April 1, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)The 4* would likely be the Crowne Plaza. You're running into the end of Lollapalooza (8/3-5), but that shouldn't really have an effect on your dates (aside from maybe some people staying an extra night on the 5th.)Rates downtown are slightly better if you look at 8/6-8 separately, but if you look at 8/5-8, there is a 4* in Lincoln Park for $96. If you want to stay near downtown, that's still a little bit of a trek North of it, but certainly far closer than staying out by O'Hare (and a cheaper rate.)Let us know your thoughts.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
