AaronJB Posted July 10, 2005 Report Share Posted July 10, 2005 A follow-up of sorts to my post about the W in the Hotwire area:Essentially, trying to be the good son-in-law and get my relative who's coming here a really good hotel deal. They needed a room for another, less busy day and I saw this hotel on Hotwire for $68 for that night. We figured that we'd go with that if it didn't show up for cheaper on PL.Bid $50. Got it on the first try. Holiday Inn City Center - 3*. It's the HI near Navy Pier, not the Merchandise Mart one. Awesome.Needless to say, relatives were impressed that I got them a room on 3 different nights (2 in a 4 star hotel) for a total of about $340 (that's including tax.) Link to comment
