I assume your dates are 6/17-6/23? (check out date in topic title is listed as 7/23) If so...

I think this one may be a little tougher than your Priceline Waikiki Beach bidding...

At the Resort level you have TWO re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

(NOTE: 're-bid zone1' is not the same as priceline's Zone1, 're-bid zone2' is not the same as priceline's Zone2, etc, etc)

Select Resort Kaanapali...

Bid $150, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $155, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE

Select Resort Kaanapali and re-bid zone2...

Bid $160, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $165

Any questions feel free to ask.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Hi,

Haven't had any luck with the bidding even up to $185p/n.

Had a look at HOTWIRE, can you please help ID the following:

Resort

Beachfront

Smoke Free

Fitness Centre

Pool

Restaurant

Business Centre

Laundry (Self service)

Internet

Golf Nearby

Tennis Nearby

Spa

Childrens Activity Program

It has 95% approval on Hotwire.

The 6 nights for $1468 so $244p/n.

Thx.

I wouldn't jump on that HOTWIRE rate just yet, some of the hotels are having sales for close to that rate ($245), check out Travelzoo.com. My usual tactic is to have a refundable booking which can be cancelled if/when a PRICELINE bid goes through. One other point to note is that some have recently won the Westin Ocean Resort Villas bidding on 4*, I think this is a great property, comparable to the resorts on the other side of Black Rock in my opinion.

Thanks for that, I ended up bidding $190 and was accepted by Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa.

Total was:

Offer Price: $190.00

Rooms: 1

Nights: 6

Room Subtotal: $1140.00

Taxes & Fees: $180.90

Total Charged to Card: $1320.90

Kinda just wanted to get the bookings done so am happy with this, still a bit cheaper than what was on HOTWIRE.

Used the PRICELINE links from BB.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers.

Congratulations on your success!

Glad to see it only took a few dollars more than your previously failed bid and that you're happy with the results.

I'm not sure which thread you're referring to regarding the resort fees, but currently from the Sheraton website:

Guest will be charged a daily $26.04 USD fee. This includes toll free and credit card calls (up to 60 minutes), local calls, High Speed Internet Access, free self-parking, Hawaiian activities daily, including Hawaiian arts & crafts and hula lessons.

Thank you for sharing your win and using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your bidding.

Enjoy your stay.
