silvana Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 Hi, Would like bidding help for Waikiki Beach Resort Level for max $165.Is this price reasonable for those dates? Also, read through the rebidding notes, can i confirm the rebid zones for this would be zones 1, 2, 3 & 8 as they all do not have hotels with Resort of 5* rating? Thanks.
thereuare Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 Welcome to BetterBidding! To avoid any confusion in the future, please use zone names, and not numbers, since the numbers will change has PRICELINE adds/removes/renames zones. Assuming you're referencing Diamond Head, Executive Center, Airport and Waikiki City Central, then yes, those are your FOUR re-bid zones when bidding the Resort level in Oahu.Using your FOUR re-bid zones i would try as follows:(NOTE: 're-bid zone1' is not the same as priceline's Zone1, 're-bid zone2' is not the same as priceline's Zone2, etc, etc)Select Resort Waikiki Beach...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone2...Bid $115, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect Resort Waikiki Beach and re-bid zone3...Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone2...Bid $130, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect Resort Waikiki Beach and re-bid zone4...Bid $135, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $140, if rejected add re-bid zone2...Bid $145, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect Resort Waikiki Beach and re-bid zone3 and re-bid zone4...Bid $150, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $155, if rejected add re-bid zone2...Bid $160Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes. silvana Posted March 31, 2012 Author Report Posted March 31, 2012 Hi,Will do re using names of the zones instead of numbers..Used the PRICELINE links from here and tried bidding as per above but with no luck, will leave for a few days and try again. Seeing as though its peak time, would you say I need to increase my upper limit to have a better chance?
thereuare Posted March 31, 2012 Report Posted March 31, 2012 HOTWIRE has what i'm guessing to be the 4* Waikiki Parc, would this be of any interest?HOTWIRE also has what i'm guessing to be the 4* Hilton Waikiki Beach for $169/nite, if this is of any interest. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
