Tried bidding on PRICELINE (used link from site):

1st Try: Dupont Circle, 3.5*, $70 - rejected

2nd Try: Dupont Circle + Downtown, 3.5*, $80 - rejected

3rd Try: Dupont Circle + Downtown + G-town Foggy Bottom, 3.5*, $85 - rejected

Will try again tomorrow. DC seems to often have decent last minute deals!

I was hoping to snag a room for $75/night, but I'm probably willing to go $110 Max depending on the star level. Looks like they have 3.5* hotels on HOTWIRE for ~$135/night for those nights

I think you're going to need to bid very close to your maximum budget (or more) to be successful for a 3.5* or 4* hotel for these dates. (my guess is that you're looking at about the $120 area... could be a few dollars more or a few dollars less)

What do you want to try as your next step... a 4* up to your $110 limit in any of these zones OR try for the least expensive 3.5* or better for these dates?
