I've stayed at the Renaissance for about $85 before taxes using Priceline before. Is it possible to have a successful bid of $85 - $100 before taxes for a Saturday night in June in the Waterfront / Convention area?

I'm just looking to stay one night, June 2nd.

I have no preference amongst the hotels.

I'd also consider another nearby area (to which I could easily get by the T or a cab). My plans are in the waterfront area that night, so I was hoping to stay close by. I also figured since it is the convention area, that the prices would be higher weekdays and drop for the weekend.

Also, I don't really want to spend more than $120/night including taxes.

In terms of nearby areas, how far of a trip would be acceptable? Based on the rates that I'm seeing, unfortunately my guess is that a 4* in the core areas of Boston is going to require of a bid of between $140-170 +/- (before taxes/fees.)
