We will need two rooms. It is $123 for a room with three people in it and $133 for a room with 3. But two rooms with 5 total people is $133 each. Is it better to get two separate purchases and save the $10 or do you think it is a better room for the extra $10? Thanks. This is all so new to me.

It's likely the same room, but the bigger risk is that if you try to make two separate purchases that the same hotel doesn't appear for the second search, and each group would then be at different hotels. For $10, or $2/per person, it's not a risk i would be willing to take (but if you're a gambler, or $10 is more important than everyone staying at the same property, then making two separate purchases is an option)
