sacto76 Posted July 9, 2005 Report Posted July 9, 2005 Have been trying to land a 4* for this weekend (the wife and I are coming out for Lollapalooza and some Chicago pizza) for the last few months, bidding as high as $119 at one point, and striking out repeatedly (never even got a c/o). Tonight saw what appeared to be the Palmer House on Hotwire for $90 and took another crack at PL. Started and lost at $75. The next bid of $79 was the winner. Here are the details:The Palmer House Hilton Check-In Date: Friday, July 22, 2005 Check-Out Date: Monday, July 25, 2005 Millennium Park, Loop & Grant Park Area17 East Monroe Street Chicago, Illinois 60603 312-726-7500 Your Offer Price: $79.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 3 Subtotal: $237.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $45.83 Total Charges: $282.83 Hopefully this will be an upgrade from the Club Quarters room we had reserved. Certainly a much better price (Club Quarters was $139). As always, thanks to this great site!
