Priceline Hotel: 3* Lower Fairfield (Greenwich-Stamford) Sheraton

Here's a new one to add to the priceline list. What a deal on a really good hotel, it's a 3* that wants to be a 4*.

I saw a 3* hotel on hotwire for $74 so decided to test out the priceline gods for this one night stay. (Used the savings barn site)

I only bid Greenwich-Stamford zone, not interested in anywhere else.

Bid $45 for 4* rejected

Added 3* bid $50 rejected

Added 2,5* bid $55 accepted and upgraded to 3* Sheraton Stamford.

I'll be writing a review...but in case anyone is considering it.... No hassles of any kind, friendly front desk.... Allowed early check-in, gave me a King non-smoking room... lovely hotel atrium lobby. This is geared for business but I would stay here with family any day... also has nice indoor pool. If you get a deal, this is a real keeper.
