Hotwire Hotel: 3*-Long Island City - Elmhurst area hotel-needs help

Hotwire is offering 3* hotel for 105$ in this area. I'm wondering if it is near the subway.

I'm not currently seeing this property offered when searching HOTWIRE for your dates... are you still seeing the above on your own search? If so, are you searching HOTWIRE for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults/0children?

I made a mistake. the date should be 4/5-4/7

The Holiday Inn Express Maspeth has previously been seen with this amenity set, but at the 2.5* level, i'd specualte that tit has been upgraded since then, and that would be my best guess for this one.

Do note that this HOTWIRE offer shows a 2.5/5.0 in regards to 'location' based upon previous guests, so if you're counting on convenient subway access from this hotel, based upon previous guests i'd suggest looking elsewhere

If you're looking for a cheaper alternative to staying directly in NYC i think you may be able to get a 4* hotel in Jersey City for about the same price as above... the hotels in this area all typically get great reviews and provide easy access to Manhattan via PATH train (and i like this area much more than the equivalent zones east of Manhattan). If you're interested in this option let us know your maximum bid and we'll advise accordingly.
