heyhemi
Thanks. I tried to bid for this Crowne Plaza hotel (3 star, Airport-STL and Hazelwood regions, $47). Priceline took my price and "upgraded" me to Hilton-STL Airport (3.5 star). I was avoiding this Hilton because of its $50+ potential in fees and taxes (as listed in Expedia: breakfast ~$17, wifi in room $10, parking $10). This is my second time using Priceline and I wish I had instead just booked with the Crowne Plaza that i found for a comparable price (including tax; the hotel does not charge extra fees). I decided to post here because I spent considerable time searching through the forums for info on this hotel. Buyers beware.Ok, so I'm a bit of a newbie. Still doubt I'll be returning to PRICELINE again soon... Link to comment
heyhemi
Just a quick update, post-trip. I take back my fears about PRICELINE and may return soon. My fears about added fees and taxes were unnecessary. Didn't need the wifi nor breakfast; hotel comped my parking fee. Link to comment
