There are 16 free rebid zones so I felt I could start pretty low and saw previously wins for $37 in this zone/star level. After first $30 bid I was offered free rebid to increase price to $45. Declined and started free rebids adding $1.00 to each bid up to $40 when offer was accepted for Houston Marriott North. Perfectly acceptable for layover before trip to Cancun tomorrow morning. Just need a place with a free shuttle (I confirmed all 3.5* hotels on the list on this forum had a free shuttle) and place to sleep. And, with so many free rebid zones I know that I didn't pay more than I needed to. Here is summary:Offer Price: avg. per room, per night $40.00 Rooms: 1 Nights: 1 + Add nights for the same rate! Room Subtotal: $40.00Taxes & Fees: $13.94Total Charged to Card: $53.94Used PRICELINE link on this forum to search and bid. Link to comment
