Hotwire Hotel: 4* Fort Lauderdale (Beach) Westin Beach Resort

We've booked a hotel in Fort Lauderdale for the 18th Jan, took a punt and booked on Hotwire, something we've never tried before - but I figured what did we have to lose, so got a 4* for AUD$152.58 and we got the Westin Ft Lauderdale Beach Resort ($319 + tax on their own site) - which we're very happy with as this is the area where we wanted to go but would've only been able to book a dodgy 2* on the beach if we'd booked it any other way. Just hope they don't put us in some really bad room, but from what I've researched that doesn't usually happen!!

For the future, please change the currency drop down menu on the top right of HOTWIRE's page to US Dollars (and if applicable the country to United States). Then search HOTWIRE and post to the board in US Dollars so that rates are consistent and not subject to interpretation due to future currency fluctuation. Wife and I have gotten the Westin Beach Resort and Spa, Ft. Lauderdale Beach 3 or 4 times with HOTWIRE. We never had any issue getting a king size bed, you're not going to get Oceanview for the price but the times we have stayed we had Intercostal views (good) and a view of the building next door (not so good) but who spends so much time in their room anyways. All the rooms are the same and really nice, they will hit you up for $25 a day valet parking if you have a car. Have fun and enjoy!!
