ycc Posted July 7, 2005 Report Share Posted July 7, 2005 Priceline accepted a bid for $70 for Hotel Rex (A Boutique hotel operated by Joie de Vivre). The hotel is in a good location and has a complimentary wine hour every evening. This hotel is not listed on the list of San Francisco hotels posted on this site, so it was a surprise, but I am still pretty happy:) Link to comment

Also, is this rated 3* or Boutique by Priceline? I started at $50 and then added lower star categories to allow myself to bid again and again. I felt confident, because I know the area pretty well and knew there were not likely to be any 1 star hotels in the area - still I guess it was risky :)It is rated a 3* by Priceline but seems to be more of a Boutique based on the description.
