Any ideas on which hotel this is? Thanks from a noob. :) Also, I was wondering if this is a good area to stay for tourists? This is our first time visiting San Francisco and we won't be renting a car. We wanted to do the regular touristy things: Alcatraz, Ghiradelli, Fisherman's Wharf, etc. Ideally I would like to stay downtown, but if this location is doable by either public transit or walking, the price may be worth it. TIA!

I'll leave it to others more local than i am to comment if this property is do-able, but i will point out that this zone is not really bid that frequently and i'm sure downtown would be more convenient if that is where most of your activities/plans would be located.

HOWEVER, perhaps more important than location i'll point out that this property shows a 2.0/5.0 Tripadvisor rating, which is not very good. Although this property has not yet been reported to the board, my guess is that this may be the Da Vinci Villa, and i would certainly read up on it to determine if this is something you're interested in (should my guess be correct).

Thank you for the help! I was wondering if that might be the one. After reading the reviews on Tripadvisor, I decided not to go that route. I have some time to actually book, so I will be doing some more research. This board is awesome! Thank you!!
