bidder1982 Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 Can someone please help me to bid on a hotel on las vegas strip only (either north or south) from 3/23 to 3/25 ( 2 nights)? atleast 4 star. Budget is max $120. Also would it accomodate 3 to 4 people in 1 room?
AaronJB Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)PRICELINE only guarantees 1 bed/double occupancy. One can request two beds with the hotel after purchase, but the hotel could say no or charge more, and there have been reports to the board of some instances where hotels either did not offer two beds or charged more.HOTWIRE - where you can indicate the amount of people in the room and ensure some form of bedding for the party if you are searching for four people, would be a better choice in this case. If you search on HOTWIRE for these dates, are there any listings of interest? Please provide zone, star rating, price per night and full list of amenities showing with the listing.)Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
takayukibru Posted March 13, 2012 Report Posted March 13, 2012 but can you bid on hotwire.com?No you can't on hotwire.com.
AaronJB Posted March 13, 2012 Report Posted March 13, 2012 HOTWIRE is a discount service where you are given a set of listings with amenities, price, zone and star rating. However, you are not told the hotel until after purchase. It is not as heavily discounted as PRICELINE, but is less opaque and is a better choice if you have four people. If you have never used the service, you can find a description of both services here: I've Never Used Priceline or Hotwire.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
