Also, if its not a good hotel is it possible that if i wait a fee more days or week the hotel may change?thank you in advance
AaronJB Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Please provide the exact date/s of travel and we would be happy to try to ID.Hotel options for your date/s may change between now and your stay, but there is no way to know if/when.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Tinkerbellewings Posted March 11, 2012 Author Report Posted March 11, 2012 I'm sorry! I thought I had included it in my message. My dates of travel are 6/2-6/5. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thereuare Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 The Hilton Washington and Towers has previously been seen with this amenity set so that would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Tinkerbellewings Posted March 15, 2012 Author Report Posted March 15, 2012 Thank you for your help! I just noticed that another person posted a similar offer and you had guessed the Hotel Baron, which you did not recommend. Is it possible that the Hotel Baron is still the likely hotel?
Tinkerbellewings Posted March 15, 2012 Author Report Posted March 15, 2012 I just checked back to the listing on hotwire and noticed that on the page where it lists the amenities, it also states that it was rated 2.5 out of 5 on Trip Advisor from previous customers. I checked the Baron Hotel on Trip Advisor, and it indeed is rated at 2.5 out of 5 from reviews. I am almost certain now that the listing is for The Baron Hotel. Thank you so much for your help!

Tinkerbellewings Posted April 16, 2012 Author Report Posted April 16, 2012 I would like to travel between 6/1-6/4 and stay either in the Capitol Hill or Dupont Circle area at a 4* or 3.5* with my stting bid being $75 and my maximum bid is $89 dollars. I would need two rooms and willing to bid for a 3* only in the Dupont circle area. I would really appreciate it!

Not in Capitol Hill as the last time I did, I unfortunately got the L'enfant Plaza which was not a great hotel. Thank you for your help in advance!

Tinkerbellewings Posted April 17, 2012 Author Report Posted April 17, 2012 Where should post in order to get a bidding strategy for the dates and hotel stars I posted above? I would like to know before I click on the links to bid. Thanks!
thereuare Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 Keep in mind that PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, after that it's at the discretion of the hotel, and you could receive a room with only one bed. While you can call the hotel you win and request a room with two beds, the hotel may not be able, or willing, to honor your request. When bidding in DC you have SEVEN re-bid zones at the 4* level..
