My family (4 adult and 2 kids) is going to travel to New york on 27~30 April.

I'm trying to bid for 4* of MTE,MTW,TS,CPS since last week from 120$ to 190$.

But I fail to get it.

April is a high season? So I can't estimate the resonable price.

Please let me know.

Prices do start to ramp upwards in April as temperatures start to get a bit nicer.

The issue with PRICELINE is that it only guarantees double occupancy/one bed - would you be okay with that risk? If not, HOTWIRE - where you can indicate the amount of people in the party - would be a better option.

What would be your desired max bid for this stay? How many rooms are you bidding on?

Are you willing to accept the risk of receiving rooms with only one bed and no room (or option) for a rollaway? This risk is greatest in NYC given the high percentage of rooms with only one bed and the number of hotels who consider a room with two beds to be an 'upgrade' from standard. If not, if you search HOTWIRE for 2rooms/4adults/2children is anything offered within your budget and desired star rating?

We are 6 (4 adults and 2 kids (7y,10y))

I don't know 2 rooms with 2 adults and 1 kid or 2 rooms 4 adults and 2 kid on main homepage(hotwire.com)

When I apply 1 room 2 adult and 1 kids with 4* hotel in Midtown East they shows hotwire price is $231 per night, total with tax is $838.79.

If you are a party of 6 (4/2) and 2 rooms, then you have to search for 2rooms/4a/2c. Please let us know listings of interest after searching with these details, as the options definitely may be different.
