My kids would love to have a hotel with a pool but, I know this can be a guessing game. Hotwire pulled up a super savings 3.5 star hotel for $77 in the Magnificent Mile Area - Streeterville area hotel . Amenities include: Amenities:Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet Access. Can anyone tell me which hotel this is and if the pool is indoors? AaronJB Posted March 6, 2012 Report Posted March 6, 2012 My guess would be the Doubletree. Unfortunately, that property has an outdoor pool. I see what looks to be the Palmer House for $94 - that does have an indoor pool, but the Doubletree would probably be more family-friendly and that area has more going on at night. AaronJB Posted March 7, 2012 Report Posted March 7, 2012 The ES properties downtown have not been seen on PRICELINE or HOTWIRE in quite a while, unfortunately and I am not seeing them when searching for this date (only one hotel appears at each star rating in each zone for each set of dates.) Glad you are looking forward to your stay.Can you confirm that the amenities that were showing with this listing were: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Spa? Thank you.While not outstanding (but very nice), a good value choice nearby is Flat Top Grill, a "make your own Stir Fry" local chain about a block or so away at 30 S Wabash. You can choose the ingredients you want, and they fry it up and bring it to your table. You can continually go back and make different combinations if you choose unlimited.
