If you have reached your desired max budget per night for these dates, then you can either wait and try again starting lower and working up to that point every 5-7 days (as you do have some time), consider a lower star rating or additional zones. At this point I don't think you're too far off. While there's no way to know if rates will come down between now and your stay, I think for a 4* in these zones on these dates, you're likely looking at $160-175 required for a win.

i saw a super saving for the date 6/16-6/19 at Marina - Cow Hollow - Pacific Heights area hotel on hotwaire, Amenities: Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s); but there note "We are still gathering reviews for this property.". is it new hotel of 3.5* anyone can help on identify this hotel? how about this zone?
