spanishjam
Has anyone won a priceline bid for Marriott Residence Inn New Rochelle New York? Link to comment
thereuare
All hotels reported to the board would be found in the Priceline Hotel List. You can find any recent wins for a given area or a specific hotel by using the search form on the top right of the board (NOT the one with the orange button but below that, change the 'forums' drop down to 'QUICK SERCH' and you can search for any combination of region, zone and/or specific hotel. As well, you can use the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins for any wins in the area you're seeking for your specific dates.Do you have a specific trip/dates in mind? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. spanishjam
My dates are April 1 to April 7. The hotel is listed on the PRICELINE web site at $141 but is not on the list of price line hotels on the link you provided at the top of this page. In doing a search on your engine I could not find any members who won this via bidding from priceline. Link to comment
thereuare
We have not seen any wins reported to the board in this area. Keep in mind that not all hotels offered thru the 'retail' side of PRICELINE are also offered on the 'name your own price' side of PRICELINE... each arm of their service uses a different universe of hotels. For additional info see the related link in our PRICELINE FAQ.Is New Rochelle the only area that will work for your plans this trip? Do you specifically need the Residence Inn at this location? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. spanishjam
I like the hotel but it is not a must. Will consider my options. Link to comment
dahammer
I wish there were a way to guarantee a Residence inn as well, it's one of my favorite chains. You may want to consider the Rye NY zone, I haven't bid here in many years, but the Hilton is a great property as is the Courtyard. Finally, if you can drive a bit north, the Stamford zone seems to accept lower bids compared to adjacent zones, but you may have to pay for parking. Even with the parking fee, it is still a good deal. Some of the Stamford hotels are a short distance to the Metro North train station in case your travels take you to NYC. Occasionally the Hyatt in Greenwich has appeared on HOTWIRE as well, this is a nice property too. Link to comment
