samhoustonchick2002 Posted March 1, 2012 Report Posted March 1, 2012 Greetings. First I would like to start off by saying how wonderful this forum is! Would anyone be able to help me figure out a bid that will score me a good hotel near Universal Orlando w/shuttle and maybe free breakfast? I was thinking along the lines of Hyatt Place or Holiday Inn (with the TGI Fridays attached). I know it would be during the summer when everyone is visiting the theme parks... 6/14-6/16 Hopefully they won't inflate the price too much!I'm taking my bro (39) and nieces (10, 11 and 12 years old-for whom I've never even met yet) :) and I want to make sure we get a nice hotel without a hefty pricetag. If anyone has any suggestions further away from Universal that has a shuttle, I'd be open to that too! Star wise: I'm thinking 3, 3.5, 4 or resort. Budget: No more than $85 a night + tax.Thank you for any help you can provide.P.S.: I bid $45 for 3 1/2 Universal Resort area Declined and $43 3* Universal resort area also Declined on Priceline.
